G3/G4/G5, iBook and Powerbook predictions

There has always been some rumors around about G5-equipped Powerbook. After gathering information from The Register, I concluded the following predictions:
- iBook would still stay in G3 line for a while as IBM introduced PPC750GX in July. Apple seems like to make a safer bet on this.
- Powerbook would also stay in Moto's G4 for at least one product update, as 7457 will be in mass production this year end. Most importantly, is that 7457 is pin compatible to 7455, that Apple doesn't have to revise the logic board much to fit the new chip. More hints could be found here and here
- When will G5 appear in Powerbook? Ask IBM. I think it is about the heat and cooling issue. G5 is rumored in generating more heat and consume more power than 7457. IBM also has plans to build blade server based on 970. As blade server requires chip to generate less heat and consume less power, if IBM could be able to produce such ULV (ultra-low voltage) version of chip, it will definitely suit Powerbook. When G5 Powerbook comes out, I think it is also the time for G4 iBook.
