iBook Battery Nearly Dead
After 2 years and 4 months of service, my iBook battery is near to death.
Last summer, I was carrying my iBook to Japan for watching the World Cup. The battery was still functional. In few occasions, I carried it with my trip and use it for fun and iPhotos. After that, I seldomly used the battery but the power supply instead as it stationary stayed in my desk at home.
Few weeks ago, when I brought it out of my desk and surf web in the dinning area, it quickly went to sleep mode after 10 mins of use. I checked the battery lights at the bottom of iBook and there is one light blinking. A week ago, I upgraded the Battery software to version 1.1. The situation improved a bit, but it still went out quickly.
So my plan is to buy a new iBook battery, but it is quite expensive HK$950 after I checked the Apple Store. May be another late X'mas gift. But what I am afraid is the color of the new battery. I saw that the new G4 iBook is purely opaque white. I don't know if Apple also changed the battery color a bit for the new G4 iBook. If it is, I feel suck.
